The Dreigiau's impressive start to the season continued on Saturday with an impressive win over Lampeter 2 XV.The belnd of youth and experience seems to be working very well for Haydn Morgan and his merry men. Wilth Curtis Bradford always looking to attack from any part of the field they realy ran a game Lampeter side ragged scoring a total of ten tries. Aled Jones and Chris Ludgate worked tirelessly in the loose for the home side and when Bedwyr Davies and Gethin Howells had to leave the field with head injuries they were replaced by veterans Dai Bryant and Emyr Jones who turned in performances which belied their years.

Tries for Emlyn came from scrum half Rhodri Davies who crossed for four, flanker Aled Jones picked up a brace, and Barry Thomas, captain Niki Williams, winger Ifan Davies, and Emyr Jones also crossed the whitewash. Outside half Barry Thomas added seven conversions.
