Emlyn's second Xv or Dreigiau ( Dragons ) got hteir season off to an excellent start with a fine away win against Tumble.The new look Dreigiau led by experienced number 8 Niki Williams is an excellent blend of youth and experience. As well as Williams the side has veteran props Dai Bryant and Barry Evand and experienced outside half Barry Thomas playing alongside a number of players just out of the Youth system. 

Youngsters Llewely Morgan, Chris Ludgate and Carwyn Jones were just a few of the eight players in the twnety one man match day squad who are only just out of the Youth team by no more than two years.

Tries for Emlyn came at regular intervals through full back Cerith Grrffiths two tries, Niki Williams two tries, and tries each for centre Gethin Howells, flanker Carwyn Jones, and replacements Dafydd Morgan and Rhodri Davies, with outside hald Barry Thomas converting six tries.

Their next game is at home next week when Pontyberem will be the visitors
